The benefit of earning interest compounded monthly is added to the services of a basic checking account on our Personal NOW (interest checking) account.

NOW Account Details:

Now accounts must retain a minimum balance of $1000.00 otherwise a service charge of $10.00 will be imposed.

A per item service charge of $.20 will be charged for each check or debit transaction in excess of 20 during a monthly statement cycle.

For First Southern Bank's customers age 55 and over, we offer the Fortune 55 NOW Account. With this account, you can write as many checks as you like, pay no monthly fee, earn competitive rates on your balance and receive all these additional services absolutely free:
