Business and Retail Mobile Check Deposit

The mobile deposit feature allows users to make a check deposit via Business and Retail Mobiliti, by photographing the front and back of the endorsed check with their iPhone or Android mobile phone,  and submitting that image for deposit to their account.

Tips for Mobile Check Deposit

♣ Before logging into the First Southern Bank Mobile Deposit app, close all other apps running in the background on your mobile phone.
♣ Sign/Endorse the back of your check, and label it “Mobile Deposit.”
♣ When prompted for the check amount, carefully enter the check amount to ensure it matches the amount written on your check.
♣ Flatten folded or crumpled checks before taking your photos.
♣ Place the check on a dark background in a well-lit area.
♣ Keep your phone flat above the check when taking your photos.
♣ Keep the check within the view finder on the camera screen.
♣ Try not to get too much of the areas surrounding the check.
♣ Make sure that the entire check image is visible and in focus before submitting your deposit and all four corners of check are captured.
♣ The MICR line (numbers on the bottom of your check) is readable.

Digital Payment and Digital Wallet

Digital payments provide a quick and simple way to make secure purchases. Each wallet has its own unique security features and provides you with flexibility and the convenience of a digital way to pay!

A digital payment is the use of tokenization card credentials to purchase goods or services. Digital payments include purchases made with a digital wallet and digitized e-commerce payments.

A digital wallet is an application on an electronic device that allows you to make secure payments. Digital wallets let users’ complete purchases easily and quickly online, in apps and in stores.

To Enroll

To enroll find and follow the prompts on your smartphone, then take it for a spin! We support Apple Pay®, Google Pay™, Samsung Pay®, Fitbit Pay™, and Garmin Pay™.

Apple Pay®

Apple Pay® is a mobile payment and digital wallet service that lets you make payments using qualifying Apple® products (iPhone®, iPad®, Apple Watch®, etc.). Apple Pay allows users to make secure purchases in stores, in apps and online. Currently, Apple Pay is the only digital wallet using a secure element (SE) for tokenization storage, which is a chip embedded directly into the phone's hardware.
Payments: Users can securely pay through NFC or within apps. In‑app transactions require only a user's approval via Touch ID®, greatly simplifying the typical online purchase experience.
Adding a Card: Consumer initiated in the Passbook app through uploading or manually entering. The Passbook app stores loyalty cards, flight information, coupon gift cards, etc. right on a cardholder’s Apple device.

Google Pay™

Pay with your Android™ phone in stores and online with Google Pay™. Google Pay uses near field communication (NFC) to transmit payment information between your phone and payment terminals at supporting stores. Just add your debit card to Google Pay for a simpler checkout process. There's no need to enter your card details every time; just choose Google Pay, make sure the phone is unlocked and hold it near the terminal at checkout — the app doesn't even need to be open!
Payments: Through NFC or in-app through participating parties.
Adding a Card: Consumer initiated in the app by uploading or manually entering.

Samsung Pay®

Samsung Pay® is a mobile payment and digital wallet service offered by Samsung. Samsung Pay uses NFC and magnetic secure transmission (MST) for payments. MST is a huge convenience for cardholders. It works by sending a magnetic signal from a compatible device to the payment terminal’s card reader (to imitate swiping a physical payment card). MST payments don't require the merchant to upgrade the payment terminal, making Samsung Pay available for use at nearly all payment terminals with a card reader.
Payments: The service supports contactless payments using NFC and MST.
Adding a Card: Consumer initiated through the app by uploading or manually entering.

A wearable wallet is worn on your wrist and consists of a payment application on the device and a companion application on a paired mobile phone. It allows you to make secure payments on the go — even when not carrying the phone.

Fitbit Pay™

Fitbit Pay™ is an easy way to make purchases on the go, right from your wrist. Now cardholders can work out without their phone or wallet and still shop at their favorite stores. Fitbit Pay is accepted at any of the millions of stores that accept contactless payments. Plus, card details are never shared with retailers or with Fitbit so cardholder information stays private.

Garmin Pay™

Garmin Pay™ is a contactless payment solution designed to let cardholders make purchases quickly with nothing needed but their watch at almost anywhere that accepts contactless payments. Just enter a passcode, select the right card from their virtual wallet and then hold their wrist near the card reader. And, card details are not stored on the device, on their servers or passed to merchants, so cardholders can pay with confidence.
