First Southern Bank Custom Mobile Banking Application

Please Note: Mobile Banking Enhancements

A feature upgrade was recently performed on the Mobile Retail Online Banking Application.  With this upgrade mobile banking users will experience a new look to the login page and home page.  Users may also be asked to provide their security question after entering their user name and password.  

The upgrade provides great new capabilities, two of the features can be located within mobile banking by selecting the MORE button on the bottom page banner.

Information about the new features are provided below:

Fingerprint Login

Use your fingerprint instead of your password when logging into your mobile banking.  Your User ID will be saved on your device.  All users with a registered fingerprint on their device will be able to login.  Please use caution when allowing others access to your mobile device. Your password may still be required for some actions.  Online banking will prompt you when this is needed.  This feature must be turned on by user within the mobile banking site.

Instant Balance Settings

View your balances without having to log into your device.  Just look for the Instant Balance button on the login screen to view your balances instantly.   You can select up to 6 accounts to view instantly.  This feature must be turned on by user within the mobile banking site.

Bill Pay Enhancements

Bill Pay also received additional enhancements.  New features include the ability to add a new bill payee from your mobile device, pay a paper bill using camera capture, and browse history of paid bills.  All these features are located under the PAYMENT tab within mobile banking on the bottom page banner.

Mobile Banking offers a flexible, safe and secure way to monitor and control your First Southern Bank Accounts anytime, anyplace. There are three ways to access your account information: texting, mobile browser or downloading the mobile application. It is easy and Free!

SMS Text Messaging

To Get Started

  • Log on to your First Southern Bank Online Banking account
  • Click on the "Options" menu
  • In the "Options" page, go to the "Mobile Banking" section and follow the simple instructions

iPhone Update

If you had mobile banking before the iOS7 update, please delete the app from your phone. You must then go into your online banking and complete the following steps:

  1. Go to Options
  2. Mobile Banking Profile
  3. Manage Devices

Next you will drop down the box to:

  1. Stop using this device for Mobile Banking
  2. Confirm Yes and then Exit Mobile Banking
  3. Go to Manage Devices
  4. Reactivate your mobile banking
  5. Accept the Terms and Conditions
  6. Downloadable apps
  7. Enter your phone number

Final steps

  1. Once you hit send you will then receive a text message where it will ask you to download the new application
  2. After you download the new application it will ask for the mobile code which is GoMobileO24l and your username
  3. You will again accept the Terms and Agreement on your I phone and put in your password.
  4. Once this is complete the app will appear automatically
